Weekend and snow!
Snow changes the landscape and turns the ordinary and mundane into something magical.
We don't often get snow because we're too far down south, but for several years now, on the odd occasion, we do get snow and it's just LOVELY!
It does wreak havoc with the transport systems and the road though...
So Saturday, snug indoors, pancakes flipping and syrup drizzling...maybe a walk later to dust off those cobwebs.
Candles are flickering, and the roses I put in my little mercury vases have started to bloom

Pics from my walk on Friday afternoon...
Spring seems a very long way off...
Have a great weekend!

Hello Sharon:
ReplyDeleteThe snow, as you rightly say, really does transform everything. We love it, but also appreciate that it does seriously disrupt life for many others.
Here Hungary is blanketed in snow although, as might be expected, there is far less in Budapest. Keep warm and enjoy your weekend.
Hi Jane, yes it's almost melted now, a few pockets here and there, and thankfully the roads are now clear! Wishing you both a lovely weekend as well! Sharon
DeleteHi Sharon
ReplyDeleteI forgot about your new delightful blog.
I also have this mercury tealihgt, roses look beautiful in it.
Have a nice weekend :)
Hi dear Kasia, I found the tealights are ideal for flowers as well as candles. Hope you're having a lovely weekend!
DeleteEven if spring is a long way off...you brought some lovely color here today. Thank you, it is nice to meet. I'm Mary...I'll come visit often.

DeleteHi Sharon,
ReplyDeleteI love snow photos, and yours are very pretty. Thank God this Saturday we've had some sun.
Nothing better to stay at home and light some candles, have some good food, and relax.
Have a very (not too cold) nice Sunday.
Good morning sweet Sharon!
ReplyDeleteOh we are the ones that should be having tons of snow, but NOTHING! We have plenty of howling winds however, to keep us IN and drinking lots of tea!
Thank you so much for coming to view my post. OBSERVE and RECORD the wonders around you today! Love, Anita
Lovely photos, Sharon...and spring is months away here...SO cold! Thanks so much for stopping by!
