Weekend and snow!

Snow changes the landscape and turns the ordinary and mundane into something magical.
We don't often get snow because we're too far down south, but for several years now, on the odd occasion, we do get snow and it's just LOVELY! 
It does wreak havoc with the transport systems and the road though...

So Saturday, snug indoors, pancakes flipping and syrup drizzling...maybe a walk later to dust off those cobwebs.

 Candles are flickering, and the roses I put in my little mercury vases have started to bloom

    The snow, as you rightly say, really does transform everything. We love it, but also appreciate that it does seriously disrupt life for many others.

    Here Hungary is blanketed in snow although, as might be expected, there is far less in Budapest. Keep warm and enjoy your weekend.

    I love snow photos, and yours are very pretty. Thank God this Saturday we've had some sun.

    Oh we are the ones that should be having tons of snow, but NOTHING! We have plenty of howling winds however, to keep us IN and drinking lots of tea!
