Tushtush

Hi everyone, snowing where you are?
We are anticipating more tomorrow...

I'm a lover of all kinds of art, but more of a  shadow artist myself.  I haven't the time to perfect and pursue my own painting ability, but I appreciate the journey in others.  If I could perhaps focus on one thing at a time, I might, but I can't.

Tali is a very talented artist from Israel, now living in Canada.  I found her on Etsy here and I fell in love with the way she portrays every day life on tiny canvases.  There's something deeply personal about the subjects that she paints.

Due to her very recent move to Canada, she's out of stock of originals, but promises that she will soon stock up her online shop with more wonderful subjects.

I hope you enjoy these as much as I did when I first saw them.

These paintings are executed in a variety of mediums; acrylic, oil pastels, and oil.

Below is an original painting in acrylic:10 x10

inches or  25x 25cm

Square tiny canvases are approximately 4 X 4 inches (10 X 10 cm)

Rectangle tiny canvases are approximately 5 X 3.5 inches (12.7 X 8.8 cm)

These small lively canvases although

prints of the original, make superb buys for

anyone who might not have the funds to

invest in originals.

Hope you enjoyed the visit!

Until next time!

  2. Those are fabulous, Sharon, I wonder where in Canada she lives, probably in Ontario. Three quarters of our population lives in one province, I think!

  3. Hello Sharon:
Some of these pieces have a flavour of life in the countryside of Hungary. Older people sitting around in traditional dress, no doubt putting the world to rights. These tiny paintings capture special moments in an incredibly immediate and arresting way. They are delightful.
